Help Other with New Year resolutions

by Shakti Singh Dulawat on January 2, 2010

SO Guys I hope you enjoyed a rocking night on 31st, Every new year, there are a lot of people who are making the New Year’s resolution like quitting to smoke, getting into diets and etc. Instead of doing that, and couldn’t make that happen, why don’t you try something new like taking the focus off yourself and resolve to help others or help the environment and the animals healthy and safe. Here are some tips to follow in making a resolution in order to help others. So here are my few tips.
1) Maintain your neighbors.
Try to go on the homes owned by elderly persons. Ask their permission to do winter works or even do some of the gardening or even cleaning their garden clearing out old leaves on their garden. This is somewhat kind of doing a lot of things but, this work won’t take too long and more to that the elderly persons will somehow treat you as their adopted child in no time.
2) Donate items.
Try to donate foods to some food shelf. This kind of organization is having feeding program for those who are needed. This organization that is having feeding programs provides food to many people every month. Food that could be worth $50 and up could be a big help for the organization. At least this New Year resolution is off to a good deed.
3) Send greeting cards.
Try to send greeting cards every week via mail or by e-mail. E-mail is not a hard thing to do these days. You may send e-cards by looking on some of the service providers and send it to persons you know. Anyhow you might also receive cards from them or even a call. It might be better to receive e-cards rather than that of the bills.
4) Park your car.
Sometimes, it’s better to go on for a commute and leave your car parked. This way, you are helping the environment and at the same time you also get an exercise from commuting. Parking your car will lessen gas consumed and less road accidents.
5) Take care of your animals.
When you have a pet, you must still do your commitments to them. Those animals are like man, too, they also need to get a nutritious meal, have a good check-ups, needs safety and needs to be cared of. Taking more care to them will be a good resolution as it will be a good help for the animals.
